Microsoft Live

I designed and directed this project for Microsoft with production company Digital Kitchen, interactive group Firstborn and ad agency Wexley School for Girls.

The live generative content was built with Processing and was then projected in three dimensions onto an inflated 60' sphere. Because the animations were "live," viewers could get their photos taken at the event and then see themselves projected 60' high. This tied into both the latest Windows Live launch and Microsoft's support for the charity Operation Smile, celebrating their 25th year.

The generative animation looped with a traditional CG rendered sequence summarizing the project conceptually and incorporating the Operation Smile and Microsoft logos.

The event ran for the evenings of 11/7/07, 11/8/07 and was located on the South Street Seaport pier in New York City.
